A space to reconstruct the self.
Yoni Garden questions the identities imposed upon women and creates a space where women can construct their own.
Identity is not treated as a fixed essence. It is continually formed through the body, personal experience, memory, language, place, culture and social structures. The project begins with the female body and expands outward into questions of selfhood, cultural inheritance and belonging.
